Work

As you already know, I am working as a locker room attendant at the golf course. I get pretty bored sometimes, but all in all it isn't too bad of a deal. I read all day and get paid to do it! Let me know if you know of any good books I need to read. I now have a computer so I am on gchat all day long...oh yeah! If you are ever on gchat, let me know! I work pretty closely with the spa, and it opened on Saturday and I am a lot busier during the day with that which is great! The best part is that while they were training all of the therapists on the Shooting Star treatments, they needed bodies for practice. They asked me if I would like to get a facial for training purposes. Needless to say I didn't have to think too long on that one!! That day I got paid to have a facial for 2 hours! How great is that?!?! Then, to make that day even better, one of the chefs called me and asked me to stop by the kitchen on my way out and he gave me the box pictured above with the amazing piece of chocoalate cake AND ice cream in it! It was so great!! Also, last week they were taking pictures of the spa for the brochures and what not and another girl and I got paid for several hours to sit in the steam room and pretend we were relaxing. It was nice to get paid to talk to someone for hours! It is going to be pretty embarassing if that picture gets used, but oh well! Even better, one of the therapists wanted to get used to the wax we use here so she waxed my eyebrows for me. Also, all of the consultants for the different lines we carry trained us on their products and gave us free products and samples from their lines. It is really nice stuff too! I think I am going to like working in a spa!
