Labor Day Weekend

That's right...two posts in one week. Oh yeah! This weekend was so much fun! On Thursday night my friend Emily and I went out and danced and had a lot of fun. On Friday I slept in a bit and then got up and cleaned around the house some for the party we had on Sunday. Friday night I went camping on Jackson Lake. It was so fun! I didn't get cold either...that was great! I had to borrow a sleeping bag from a friend since I don't have one. I am definitely going to need to get one of my own becuase I really enjoyed camping! It is sort of like a slumber party for grown ups. Everyone just hangs out by the fire and cuts up until they are ready to go to bed. So fun! Saturday we got up and spent the day on the lake. It was awesome being on the lake with all of the mountains around us. I got cold later in the day, but it never rained on us so that's good! The original plan was to camp on Saturday night too, but we decided to come back since a lot of the group bailed and the weather didn't look that great. It's a good thing too...it rained all night! We didn't get back until late Saturday night and I was so exhausted! I sat on the couch and watched football (yea!) and then went to sleep. Sunday was party day! We all cleaned and got everything set up all day. The party was so much fun! We had a shrimp boil and all kinds of yummy food. A lot of people came over and we had a blast. The only unfortunate part is that our house was a wreck Monday morning! We spent all of Monday morning cleaning too. After we finished our cleaning spree we all sat on the couch and watched movies! It was nice to relax. Last night around 8 we had just finished watching a movie and my friend Susan texted to see if I wanted to go with her to her boyfriend's cabin in Pinedale (a town about an hour and a half south of here). I love last minute fun things that come up so I was all in! She picked me up 10 minutes later and we drove to Pinedale. We went to the local bar last night and played shuffleboard for a bit and then we went back to the cabin and went to sleep. This morning we got up and had some tea and went to Fremont Lake. After the lake we went back to the cabin and went on a bike ride around town. It was so fun! We had to work today at eleven so we left after the bike ride, but I am sure that was the first of many trips to Pinedale! I hope that you all had a wonderful Labor Day Weekend as well!!
