One of my very best friends got married on September 26th and I was very honored to be one of her bridesmaids. Therefore, I made a trip back south for the weekend! The wedding was in Guntersville, AL (my hometown) but I flew in and out of Atlanta so I could try to see people during my trip. The night I flew in to Atlanta happened to be the night that Ole Miss had the Thursday night game, so it was perfect. So, I flew in to Atlanta on that Thursday and took Marta to Lindbergh and went to Sara and Emily's apartment (thanks again for letting me stay!). I hung out there with them until it was time to go to Tavern 99 (the Ole Miss bar) for the game. Haley came over too and surprised me with some delicious peanut butter and chocolate brownies...yum!! We went to Tavern 99 for the game and it was a lot of fun even though Ole Miss played terrible. There were a lot of people that were able to come so that was great!! Thanks again to everyone that came...it was so good to see you all! After the game a few of us went out to a couple of different bars and just hung out. It was good to be out with my ATL friends again! The next morning I had breakfast with Lori and then met up with my dad and he took me back to Guntersville. That afternoon I just visited with my parents and brother and got ready for the rehearsal/rehearsal dinner. The pre-wedding festivities were great and it was good to see everyone. The next day I slept in a bit (so nice!) and then watched football all morning until it was time to get ready for the wedding. I got ready for the wedding and went over to Claire's house (she had the wedding at the house she grew up in...it was great!) for pictures and everything. Luckily it didn't rain and everything was perfect! The wedding was great and it was good to see everyone. The next day I flew around with Dad in his plane. It was so fun! It was a beautiful day and we had a lot of fun flying around. I definitely want to get my pilot's license sometime! Hopefully it will work out. That evening my Aunt, Uncle and Grandmother came over and had dinner with us. It was good to see them...I am really glad that worked out! After dinner Mom and I drove back to Atlanta. We got in super late so we just got a hotel room. The next morning I met Tamara for breakfast. It was so so good to see her! After we finished catching up I went back to the office with her and got to see a lot of my former coworkers. It was really good to see everyone, but it definitely did not make me want to be back in the insurance world just yet! Haha! After I finished visiting with everyone I met back up with Mom and we ran a few errands and got lunch. I had Chick fil A....it was SO good! I miss it so much! After Chick fil A, I had Cold Stone for dessert! Haha. It was very yummy as well. I just love ice cream! After dessert, Mom took me to the airport and I came back to Jackson. It was a great weekend and I feel like I got to see a lot of people so that was wonderful! Thanks again to everyone who could make it out to Tavern 99. I really enjoyed seeing ya'll!
