I was going to try to come up with a creative title for this post, but I figured it would look better if I was consistent. That's the only reason I went with "January"... I can't believe that it is already 2010. Where does the time go?! Anyways, January was a lot of fun. I skied 18 days in January! I am having so much fun skiing. It is so great! We had a couple of small parties at our house in January. We had pizza night and margarita night. Both were fun, so that's good. Thomas was out at his ranch and he invited me to go snowmobiling with him. It was SO much fun!! I loved it!! I drove down to Cora and met him and we snowmobiled all day and then we all cooked dinner and then I drove back to Jackson. It was a blast! I got my snowmobile stuck a lot at first, but I started to get the hang of it by the end of the day! Katie B. came to town...WAHOO! I really enjoyed seeing her! It was lots of fun. She came out with her bf's family but she stayed to spend the weekend with me! While she was here there was a release party for the local snowboard magazine. It was so much fun. Guess who was there?? Justin Timberlake!! It was so exciting. He got on stage and sang and everything! The only problem is that he is no longer my celebrity crush. That's a bit of a bummer. He wasn't as hot as I wanted him to be and he was shorter than I realized! Oh well. I guess I will have to find another one. Andy Roddick will be the interim crush. If only he weren't married...then he could be the permanent one! Oh...the parents of the kiddos I nanny for went out of town so I was on full time Grady duty for three days. That was exhausting!! I honestly don't know how single moms do it. Single working moms....WAY beyond me. It was nice to get the paycheck for it, but wow...those three days definitely took it out of me! Oh...my birthday! That was so much fun!!! I skied all day that day and then that night I went to dinner with some friends. The family I nanny for gave me a $100 gift certificate to one of the nicer restaurants in Jackson. It was so nice of them! I only invited a few of my close girl friends here and we went to dinner. Since we had the gift certificate it was completely reasonable. It was such a fun group too. I had such a great night! After dinner we went to the bar and met up with a lot more people. It was just all around a good birthday. I think that sums up January. Get excited though...I am now caught up and I am going to try to do a better job of posting regularly. Yes, I realize I say that all of the time, but I am serious. It's gonna happen. I feel good about it! So the pictures are me snowmobiling, the group of us at dinner for my birthday, Katie and I snow tubing during her visit and JT on stage!!
