So, December was a ton of fun! I got back and my roommate's (Tommy) 30th birthday was the next day. It was also one of my good friend's (Elizabeth) birthday that day too! We went out to dinner for her birthday and then met up with Tommy after. It was a lot of fun. We had a party at our house for Tommy's birthday on that Friday night and it was a blast!! We had a "T" party so everyone had to dress up as something that started with a T. I was Tonya Harding! It was a lot of fun...I will post a picture of that. The next day (Saturday) was my first day of skiing out here and it was so fun!! I really enjoyed it. After skiing, we went to a buddy's house to watch football and another friend had a dress up party that night so we went to that. It was a great start to a great month! The next week my friend Shannon came to visit. That was SO much fun!! I am so glad she came out!! We went on fun hikes and went snowmobiling. It was a blast! While she was here we went to a tacky sweater party...those are always fun! She had to leave that Monday and I pretty much skied every chance I have had since. I don't work on weekends so I can usually ski all weekend. During the week I typically have one or two mornings off so I can ski all morning before going to work. My schedule is awesome! Oh...another fun thing is we cut down our Christmas tree! I have never done that before! It was a lot of fun!! Our tree was awesome too. I don't want to brag, but I did pick it out :) Oh yeah! Haha. I will put a picture of it up! I didn't go home for Christmas which was kinda weird for me. I am definitely very close to my family and this is the first big holiday I have ever missed. It was ok though. It was just a different Christmas from what I am used to. We all went out on Christmas Eve and had a blast and then we woke up on Christmas morning and opened presents. We then skied all day and then came in and cleaned and set everything up because we had about 30 people over for dinner. It was a great group and we all had a lot of fun. Not many people are able to go home for Christmas so we all just make the most of it! I put a picture of all of my roomies in our snuggies up. Yes, snuggies...haha! Mom and I got them for all of us! The week after Christmas I actually had to work a lot. Matthew was out of school and they had guests in town. Their guests had three kids so I had FIVE kids for a couple of days. Sheesh! I had New Year's Eve off though so that was nice. I skied all day and then got ready and went to a guy's house for a pre party before going to the bar. It was a fairly low key NYE but it was still a lot of fun. I can't believe that it is already 2010! I mean, not only is it 2010, it is 21 days in. Wow!
